Baby turtle gets rescued by wholesome woman who finds him on the beach and helps him recover until he can go back to sea

Many of us dream of meeting wild animals and seeing what their lives are like, but does that come at a price?

Generally speaking, people and wild animals are not supposed to be in contact. Each species has its own life, its own territory, and in an ideal world, those remain completely separate. Yet, we all know that there is often human intervention in wildlife, which usually happens out of necessity. We humans involve ourselves in the lives of animals who need a helping hand to survive, and hopefully with the purpose of eventually returning to their rightful homes. That is how you hear of wildlife workers befriending lions, or even people who encounter wild animals near their homes and help them get where they need to go.

This story further proves my point that a human's help could be all it takes to save the life of an animal they never thought they would encounter. This young woman was out cleaning the beach when she found a tiny turtle stuck between a bunch of seaweed and sea debris. She never thought this would happen to her, but she knew she couldn't waste this opportunity to help a wild animal that could not survive otherwise. She immediately sprang into action, got the baby out of the mess it was stuck in, and set out to find a way to help the turtle return to its home.

Look at this little guy. [I have to] make sure that he's good to go back in the water. He was stuck... I just wanna give him a fighting chance. He's moving and grooving. He's so cute. Waiting for a call back, chilling.

When it became clear that the turtle could not return to the sea on its own, this lovely human did not give up. She knew she could not leave the baby there to fend for itself, especially since she could tell how tired it was. Who could walk away from something like that?
Luckily, this beach has seen its fair share of wildlife in need of help, so there was a quick solution to the problem. A rescue place that could help the tiny turtle recover and restore its health until it could go back to where it belongs: the ocean.

Friendly nice lady at the Turtle Sanctuary told me to bring him over to this little drop box they have in the back of their building, try to get his strength back, even though he looks like he's pretty strong right now, but he has to go through some trial just to make sure the little man can survive out there. Which makes sense, 'cause the waves have been so choppy lately.

Named him Little Johnny, I'm not sure if he's a boy or a girl, but Little Johnny's his name. And I am not leaving until they come get Little Johnny, because I don't trust people around here. So, I'm just gonna be chilling here until Little Johnny's rescued.

As much as I am aware that people should stay out of the lives of wild animals, we all have to admit that some intervention is inevitable. As long as everyone is doing it as respectfully as they can, like this sweet woman, I have hope that we can keep coexisting on this planet and live with each other with as much love and care as possible.
